Braydon and Mike are preparing for Bray's first Pinewood Derby. The table was littered with designs and my laundry basket was commandeered as a shavings collection point. It's carved, sanded and ready for decor. Fun Fun Fun!

Hey, Check Out These Two!
It's incredibly hard to believe that this is the same little boy I first saw walking holding his Daddy's hand as he walked down the isle to find a seat for Sacrament Meeting. Can you believe it?
Braydon's Baptism
Braydon was baptized on Saturday. We were excited that so many people could come and join us for his special day. Gunnar, Grandma & Grandpa Bell, Grandma & Grandpa Tolman, Grammy, Tammy & Bronson, Ryan, Kristin & Alyssa, and the Borman's, Bishop Walker and Sister Lakatos all came to support him on his special day. Then we came home for yummy treats dipped in our choice of chocolates or carmel sauce. I love when we have a reason for fabulous treats :0)
Happy Birthday to Ryan
Yeah, Ryan and Gunnar arrived on Monday which helped us not feel so sad about Trev & Beth leaving. For Ryan's Birthday--Chocolate Mouse. MMMMM. Yummy. Happy Birthday Ryan!
Our First 2010 Greenbelt Walk
Sunday was such a nice spring day we had to go for a little walk. So we packed the family into the van and headed to the greenbelt. Much fun for both the dogs and their people. Athena seemed to enjoy the trip as well and Abby had fun strolling her. We were lucky that the only faceplant occured right at the end of the walk. Delayna had an impressive war wound and we spend the trip home with Kristin giving all the kids fist bumps for all the war wounds they could remember. You can imagine the "remember when I . . . " conversations we had all the way home. :0)

Can You Feel The Love?
This is pretty much Cailah's version of heaven. And yes, that's all she wanted to do all weekend long. Even Delayna woke us up early on Saturday proclaiming that, "I want to pick it up Makayla
He's 8!!!
Bradydon Bo Bayden is 8! Quicky Braydon rundown. he's a reformed tether-ball addict and has started playing soccer at school. I'm thinking I preferred the tether ball phase as he comes home at least twice a week with a new hole in his knees. He still hates jeans and prefers to wear suit pants to school and wears jeans only if there is nothing else to wear. He's very excited to be a scout and spent most of the after school hours of his birthday read his scout manual and passing off requirements. (Can anyone else see the smile forming on his father's face?) He surprised his mom by coming home and teacher her how to do exponents a few months ago. Did anyone else learn exponents in 2nd grade? He's still our resident peacemaker, willing to snuggle occasionally and fun to have around. He enjoys playing with Pokemon cards. Someday I'm going to have to learn about those things? He loves ham, bread, mayonise and milk and can pretty much live on that. Add a few chocolate covered strawberries (his only preferred fruit) and he's a happy kiddo.
We were lucky that Trevor & Bethany were planning to bring Makayla to visit us the day after. So they and Grandma & Grandpa Bell were able to help us celebrate his big birthday. And Trevor reinstituted "Heavy, Heavy, Hang Over They Poor Head." Braydon was majorly confused. I can't believe I have not taught my kids that. Of course, it's important to pack the days full when family is visiting, hence the wet hair and pajama'd kiddos at the birthday party :0)
