Sunday--Rest and Worship

How fun it is to hold Sacrament Meeting outside against the backdrop of the mountains. Delyana was being a major crank so I took her back to the cabin for a nap afterward. We returned just as the Relief Society was singing my favorite hymn, Be Still My Soul. Everyone came out of class smiling and happy, and that was fun for me to see. I guess it is worth it to get them all to church every week. There are Sundays when I wonder.

The adults enjoyed an evening fireside by Brad Wilcox on the Book of Mormon. I told Gunnar and that he would probably enjoy it, but he went to the movie with the little kids (which they left early because of a rowdy kid.) I was right, he would have loved it. About half way through Kris and I called Alyssa and told them to come over. They caught the last few minutes and laughed and learned then. I hate it when I don't follow my gut! Oh well. Mike set up a movie in the cabin for the little kids so they could get to bed a little sooner. Gotta love projected movies on the cabin wall!
