Tuesday--Climbing, Frisbee Golf & Frontier Days

Tuesday saw all the bigger kiddos climbing up rock walls and ropes courses. While Mike and I sat to wait for Abby to have her turn, Mike decided to take a trip on the Ropes course. He got down just in time to watch Abby head up the to the top of the rock wall. Then I decided that I'd give the ropes course a try. I was a little nervous because I watched a few people not make it past the log, but I'm happy to report I did just fine. Braydon had his turn next and decided he was going up the hard side. He was the very last person to go before lunch and he jumped up and climbed like crazy with no one to help. Mom and I watched him and as he got to the hard part he didn't have anyone to tell him what to do and neither of us knew what to tell him. He almost made it, but slipped when he jumped up. I was so proud of him. Only one girl made it up that way and she was several inches taller than him and could reach the hand holds better. He "rocked" it!

While we waited for Frontier Days to begin the family played a round of frisbee golf. The highlight of frontier days was definately the train with snowcones coming a close second. They also had fun mining for gold and the "boys" had a great time throwing hatchets and all that dangerous stuff :0)
