OK, I did it. I sent my Braydon off to school for first grade. It was a tough one. I spent the first week convinced I'd made a HUGE mistake. Mike called as I was leaving to take them to school to see if I was ok and I told him I was fine. I had to call back after dropping them off and tell him I WAS NOT FINE. But Bray has not regretted the decision and is settling in well. His teacher is terrific and I'm finally giving myself permission not to worry about him anymore. Abby is a big second grader and Braydon loves knowing she is just across the hall from him. Cailah asks for a countdown of how many day until she gets to go to school regularly. I was worried about how she'd handle the kids being gone all day, but she mostly spends her days "following Kristin around." And yes that's a direct quote.

I love the pictures, can't even imagine putting Bode on a bus and waiting for him to come home on the bus.
Congratulations and so glad you are able to let it go and stop worrying.
I wish we could have Kristin for Keegen to follow around.
Kids grow up too fast. My 1st grader wanted to ride his bike to school alone and told me "6 years old is old enough" when I told him he was too little.
